My trip to Ipoh & Penang

Uncle Anthony & family visited us last weekend. They are from Hong Kong & good friends with my Daddy.

We meet them at the LCCT late afternoon. Uncle Antony had a Air Asia ticket & daddy said pay peanuts get monkey. So they arrived late. We only got to Ipoh around 9.00 pm later that day.

Mummy said daddy always book cheap hotel rooms. So when we got to Suns Inn, there was no more rooms. Daddy got mad & shouted at them. In they end they gave us 2 small rooms ie in pic. Uncle Anthony family had 5 persons, so it would have been pretty cramped.

The next day we visited the caves in Tambun. We stop to by pomelo, daddy said look out for the pretty girls

But Daddy end up buying from this shop with the old aunty. Maybe because mummy said so.

Pomeloes are famous here. These is 2 variety - white flesh is sweet & Red flesh is sourish. We bought rambutans too, very sweet & delicious. Other famous food from Ipoh is the chicken biscuits, sat kee mah (sweet candy), white coffee & Sar Hor Fun (white noodles).
